Pets Too Needy?

Ok, I love playing the pets and having them in game but I feel like they are really needy like more so then actual pets in real life? Maybe it's just me? But having to like pet them etc like every 10 ...

If anyone could answer.
My dog no matter what trait I put is too needy. How do I make my dog stop being so annoying?

Make Simology panel better
I think it's one of those issues people, I'm sure, suggest improving: the game's Simology panel. With so many tabs it's becoming chaotic and there should be a way to organize it better.
