Please Add a Business Shift Schedule System to The Sims 4

Hi The Sims team!

I would love to see a proper Business Shift system added to The Sims 4.

It would be great if business owners could:

  • Set employee shifts and working hours
  • Choose when each employee clocks in and clocks out
  • Create different shifts for different days
  • Assign employees to morning, afternoon, or evening shifts
  • See which employees are currently working
  • Allow employees to have days off
  • Manage shift schedules directly from the business management menu

This would make running a business feel much more realistic and give players more control over their employees and daily operations.

Please consider adding a Business Shift/Schedule feature in a future update!

    That would be a helpful feature D31A11​. I always lose track of time when my stores and businesses are open and as a result I get tired employees complaining their shift is over and looking stressed out and exhausted. My Sims often have Reward Traits that stop them needing food and sleep so they happily carry on working and so do I... without spotting that exhausted employee about to keel over and/or report my Sim for brutal working conditions! I'd love it if I could set employees for different times of day.

    The only way I've found to do it is to fire exhausted staff (bad I know especially as I once worked in HR) then hire new staff, or just send staff home and carry on working and have household members run the business in shifts instead.
