Please refresh horses

I spent so much time breeding and raising horses in the Sims 3, it was one of my favourite things to do in the game.

It's been months since I bought the Horse Ranch pack, and do you know what I haven't been playing with? Horses.

They are so divorced from the normal gameplay. You can't stream using the drone while riding them. Why? You can't have a Familiar with you when riding them. Why?? Several of the lots in Henford-on-Bagley are literally inaccessible to horses, they can't even get onto the lot because of stairs. Horses don't have any meaningful interactions with any of the other packs, or the world in general. Riding them just wastes your time and makes everything more difficult.

Please refresh horses, they desperately need to be integrated properly with the game. In Get Together you can't make a pony club because the options aren't there. You can't take your horse to the vet if you also own Cats and Dogs (which of course you do). You can't take your horse on the hiking trail in Mt Komorebi. These are massive missed opportunities.

Horses are not fun. Fix them!!

    @DarthSimlish I'd like to have a Group interaction as "ride together" so your not riding alone or your friend is like miles away from you on the other part of town.

    If theres a Mod to be able to do this, PLEASE let me know.

    @DarthSimlishI finally got around to playing with an engaged couple, no children yet, and one of them loves horses so they have 6 of them total now. I decided to have a vineyard also, so I placed them in the Thebe lot in Tartosa. Which means they can't ride horses around their property/in the world, unless they travel off lot (or just practice jumps/barrels at home. All because the lot is raised slightly and has stairs in front. I have no idea why they can't ride off to the back of the lot as there is a road back there - oh wait - it's because even the sims can't walk on it. The quality has just gone waaay downhill in recent years, and the shortcuts are very visible to even the most casual of players within a short amount of time. Sad. Does no one take pride in their work anymore? Or does EA just force them to make these more and more lackluster? Whatever it is, it's catching up to them, and quickly!

    EDIT: I just wonder if the Sims team can add a jumping feature (maybe requires at least level 1 jumping skill) if the stairs are five or fewer. So that horses can ride in more parts of the world.
