Personally how I feel.
Seems like a waste of a life stage. Not to mention more work to put into them and having to add clothing for them as well. Feel like it could easily be a easily forgotten life stage with half hearted work into it. LOT of work to be putting into a lifestage that players probably won't even play for that long because young sims are always limited to things they can do. (Already not enough hobbies for sims, especially younger sims).
Took forever for teens to be feeling more like teens until Parent Hood and High School Years came out. At base game they're pretty uninteresting. Same with children.
Definitely need more resources funneled into things still needed for the base game than another life stage.
I hear you on that one. As for pre-teens, I agree. That's a life stage of about in RL 2-3 years, tops. Sixth, seventh and eighth grade. I think the real problem is that these teens are way too tall, whereas in Sims 3 they were way too short. Can we please have a happy-medium? It was so odd to watch the shorties driving a car in Sims 3, and likewise I've only witnessed one boy in my life who was probably about five-foot-six inches at the tail end of eighth grade and when I ran into him on the high school campus, about three months later, he had shot up to about six foot!

I definitely think the teens should be made little shorter than adults, I really hope that they don't add any more life stages and just make what we already have better. Add more to child, teens and elders. Would be perfect in my personal opinion
