Question For EA Staff

How do you sleep at night knowing every product you release is a broken mess and you're just stealing money from kids by selling them broken products?

  • Remember when the slogan for EA was "It's in the game." Nowadays saying "EA made this" is code for run away and don't play. Y'all haven't made a good game since Mass Effect 3. Battlefield stunk once it became multi-platform. It's like EA's entire goal is to make gaming as bland and boring as possible and that's if the game works at launch, which it typically doesn't.... Even your sports game are stagnet with the only real "progress" being the natural rotation of players. No NHL or NFL game you release will ever be as fun as those games pre-playstion2 era. The only hook is the popularity of the sport.

  • Have to say I totally agree here.  I have never known such a mess as the recent offerings from EA\Maxis.

I am just glad this software is not mission critical or we would all be dead now.

I'm glad EA is not operating on me!

  • Worse still, the ones actually responsible for the mess, seem to stay away from this forum so our messages don't get to them.

For several years I worked as a senior tester for SCS software, makers of training simulators for transport and construction work. Any bugs and problems we testers found wre fixed within a day or so with top priority.

This just doesn't seem important in anything EA do, not just Maxis and TS4, it seems to be in general across the entire EA range.

I have even built trai ning sims myself using other software, for emergency workers such as fire and rescue, industrial accident control and hospital triage work.  And I also build for 3D systems, in my spare time, and work in VR.

EA, we the paying customer, pay your wages.
