Re: Cupid's Corner creating way to many random Sims

I was looking through a mod and the creator stated that it's coded to show 15 random sims (I assume from gallery or generated) and 5 non-random sims. they also said it couldn't be changed through mods.

My game doesn't generate that many randoms anymore because I always download NPCs (like a set of mail carriers, repair sims, doctors, etc) and townie households (8 sims with likes, skills, jobs etc), so the game mostly pulls from them.

will be interesting to see if they will show up on cupid.

I'm going to more fully read the guide today because I'm thinking am I expecting too much from it? I feel like it must be going to improve from feedback since it's only in it's infancy.

I was expecting the preferences we can add for things like hair colour to have some influence but it seems not, it's not quite as sophisticated as that. Quickly scanning the guide yesterday I didn't notice any mention of those preferences. So that would explain a lot. But I still need to read it properly.

After a whole afternoon of generating matches and then going to Other Households I think I've put my mind at rest that the app matches aren't always generating new Townies unless my Sim goes on a date with them. So that's a relief. Although I am still getting a lot of new Townies as well, I couldn't tie them all in with Cupid's Corner. So for example, yesterday for the first part of the afternoon I was looking for male matches. Only a couple were in OH but so were a lot of new unrelated 1 female parent/child households.

I do like the Cupid's Counselling. I found that really amusing.

I have the Cupid's Corner background music in my head now and I'm betting it's stuck there lol 🤦.
