MAKEOVERS AND RENOVATIONS | Improvements for the basegame

I know they updated the Goths, did they update any other base game Sims?

They also updated Don Lothario. Maybe someone else to, but I'm not sure since I have my own start files because of the above reasons 😅🫶

I really wish they had a Master File town edit mode (with "save to all" option or "revert to default" option), so you can edit NPCs, Sims, Lots and Hidden Lots without having to create a save file, edit each file, or use cas.fulleditmode/bb.enablefreebuild.

They updated the Calientes too. And i think they'd do the Landgraabs but didn't due to the bad response from community about how they wasted their time and money on it.

I honestly loved the idea because as you said the old base game creations are so outdated and so many things are lacking, ugly or incoherent, and i don't like to make everything better in every save. But i agree about the spending money issue.

I think the team could just make a community challenge were simmers would share their sims and builds makeovers, then some would be selected by maxis and then the communtiy would vote for which selected ones would be added to the game.

And it would be that, a challenge, most time when I see makeovers they rely heavily on CC and multiple packs (and those makeovers I don't tend to like between over glammed, uncanny valley or too anime). It would be tricky within the confines of base game.

The voting aspect might be even trickier cause if incoherent styles/looks get chosen, they might look even more out of place and disjointed. I would however, give my blessing if their is some aesthetic guidelines or dev team tweaks to keep consistency.
