A request from those who are still claiming to see the pulsing cart icon after the emergency patch: if at all possible could you get us any video of what you're seeing in game around this?
The pulsating cart icon should not be occurring after the emergency patch release.
There is a small yellow dot in the corner of the cart icon that you should still see until you click on it, then it should go away.
Any info you can provide would be helpful, and if you're playing on PC with a no-mod vanilla game install and are still seeing the pulsing icon (or any other oddness) please follow the steps here to share your save file with us for further investigation.

I'm glad the annoying pulsing icon is gone, but honestly I'd just like the icon to be removed. Since this shopping icon is being tested, are we able to give our feedback, or is there a different location where we can do that? I feel like we have plenty of reminders of where we can buy Sims dlc. We don't want or need a button to remind us. Is this icon also related to the notifications I'm receiving when I load the game? I got a notification that I should check out Journey to Batuu and purchase it. I know full well that JTB exists. If I wanted to purchase it, I would have during one of the many sales since it was first released. I'm not interested in the pack, and I'd prefer that I'm not reminded to buy it. If this shopping icon & the notifications are here to stay, I would at least like the option to turn them off. I know where to go to purchase dlc, the icon & notifications are pushy and annoying and feel like nagging.

I've been compiling all the feedback and sharing it with the team since Tuesday afternoon.
Everything is being shared, nothing is being sugarcoated or watered down.
Nobody asked for this. Nobody wants this. The main menu advertising is more than enough.

How much clearer can we be? The feedback of the majority is : remove it.
I have yet to see even one person saying it was useful.
That's pretty common yeah, on the forum he said "behave, otherwise I'll have to remove all your good talking points because you called us doodyheads in the end"
