Since you have have HSY you also have the window that came with it. You find it in Build mode under windows. Note that you must have something to stand on outside the window.

@jpkarlsen Yes. Indeed, I have the window and have had very little luck sneaking out of it.
Remember what I wrote about something to stand on. If it is not a ground level room it is in you also need the espalier to climb down.
@jpkarlsen Thank you for your suggestions, but it's not that I don't understand how the window works, it's that wish that "sneaking out" were not tied to the window.
It is not possible to sneak out without having the expansion that also includes the special window. It is not possible to add the sneak out function to other windows without having a lot of people complain that their windows have a sneak out interaction but they can not use it. So the window must be exclusive to that expansion. You could argue that they should have added more than one window with that function to the expansion.
