Thanks, yeah I tried different mods with the pack.
But I reached a point where my game started lagging quite a lot, so I did some testing and I noticed that if I loaded a save before lovestruck was enabled, the lag was gone. If I re-enabled lovestruck on that same save, the lag came back.
I think that pack became too demanding for my save, my theory is that those 50 turn-on and turn offs require sim entries. And since the pack assigns 50 of them to all sims in the world, in my case, that means that the pack added over 50,000 entries. Because I have more than a 1000 sims in my save (I don't want them to be culled so I have culling disabled with MC Command Center).
I did miss the Lopéz household, but I saved them and then recreated them and their house with some other packs.

Did you try using the mod I mentioned with old file (to avoid 50 turn-ons and turn-offs adding) before adding Lovestruck EP? If the issue is only about this, your game may be less laggy.
However, it may be better for you to avoid Lovestruck, because there are too many autonomous interactions that can be out of your control.
I just found that when you visit the gym, NPCs will do "Show off fitness (or something)" and then a romantic relationship point will be added. This can't be disabled by MCCC (disable autonomous romantic interaction) for now. And townies or even your sims may do romantic introductions for "anyone" autonomously if they don't have a mod to prevent (thanks god that there is a mod).
I remembered that your save has over 1000 sims, so it would be a nightmare if they are out of control like this. Too much data will be created because the game makes them literally LOVESTRUCK.

Lopéz household has the nice character design too. It's nice that you saved them to live in your save file without LS. Just using CAS from other packs, right? What world do you move them in?

Yes, my whole game got lovestruck, lol. Or stuck... rather, with the lag. I didn't try bienchens mod that you linked no, I was not aware that one existed. I suspect that I would have to use that mod from before lovestruck was installed though for the game to not have already done all those log entries for all sims.
I noticed that with lovestruck sims at the gym kept doing an autonomous flirty interaction where they show off their muscles. They did it a lot.
I moved the Lopéz family to Oasis Springs (including Manuel). They look a bit different in my game because I gave them a bit of a makeover and it was difficult to find similar items for some of them.

I found that mod not so long ago during checking her update. I use tons of her mods just to stop unacceptable "by design" functions. This mentioned mod isn't essential for me at that time, but then I heard your issue, I think this mod fits your case.
I think you may try once when you have time... to test using this Bienchen mod before install Lovestruck EP with your old save file to see if it's lagging or not. Just do it as a sandbox test. Testing this may help you know if it's still worth re-adding Lovestruck. (This EP has lots of nice CAS and B&B in my opinion, and the world is beautiful.)

By the way, your Lopéz (plus Manuel) is so nice! Although they can't be the same, you are still able to keep their charm! Manuel's shirt is a great choice that the vibe is almost resembles the original one. Their house also fits with Oasis Springs. You can let them live like this even without Lovestruck.
