@Patizlle I had a similar idea for this, a pack maybe titled Travel & Trade. It would basically support a nomadic lifestyle (and Personality Trait) where you live out of a camper and don't wish to be stuck on the Home Lot. Your Sim would develop whims to travel to different lots, neighborhoods, maps and trade their wares. They'd become tense if they're stuck in one place for too long.
Originally thought this would be good for a Fortune Telling game pack. Your Sims would live out of a Caravan, choose the style of a traditional wagon or modern camper. Refresh the woodworking table to include more wares to trade. Allow the Selling Table to snap to the Caravan, upgrade with an awning. Other trades that would snap to the Caravan include the Fortune Telling table, Seance Table, Sabacc Game Table, Guitar Busking setup, etc.

I love the idea of a nomadic lifestyle pack, but it seems like connecting it with fortune telling would run afoul of a lot of negative racial stereotypes against Rroma people, wouldn't it?
- Moozilla132 years agoSeasoned Ace@sionnachsSkulk They would definitely need to be careful of that, although fortune telling can be presented in a way that's independent from the stereotype of the Roma "gypsy." It would all come down to how they packaged it (which admittedly would involve navigating some precarious pitfalls that I'm not confident they'd manage well). So with that in mind, I have to agree that probably the best approach if they were to create a pack like this would be to focus primarily on the logistics of the lifestyle and simply provide players the tools to create their own interpretations of a nomadic community (or individual nomad sims).

I'm sorry for my suggestion of Fortune Telling for this Camper pack idea. I was imagining a Sightseer Seer. I don't want to risk the misrepresentation and stereotyping of the Roma culture. My apologies for derailing the discussion of the OP. I'd like to correct my error.
Instead of Nomadic, maybe Free Spirit would be a better name for this type of lifestyle and trait. An appliance to consider for a pack like this could be a Portable Grill - or maybe the Camper itself has a build-in stove? or could be upgraded with one with enough Handiness Skill.- OzSimsFamily2 years agoSeasoned Ace
Have free-spirited traits and aspiration for young adult and adult… a trait and aspiration for family road trip… maybe a gap year trait or a rebellion trait and general lifestyle aspiration for teens… a trait and lifestyle aspiration for elderly “grey nomads” would be nice as well. In Australia the term “grey nomad” refers to people of a mature age, usually retired or semi-retired or working casual jobs along the way; permanently or semi-permanently living their life on the road in a motorhome or campervan.
Cross-pack possibilities are virtually endless. The sim could pay a ‘shipping fee’ or ‘travelling costs fee’ to move the van from one world to the next.
I would love a van pack especially if we could expand the theme to choice of purchasing new vans or buying older vans that may need work on motor, chassis, paint and fitout…with extra options of annex areas or rooftop/trayback bedroom tent for truck or ute …. The possibilities of this pack are very exciting and I would definitely purchase something along these themes.
