@TheLastPez There is currently no option to size the font on Console for Sims 4. 

I also have to use a desk chair and I sit close to my TV to read the text. It isn't ideal at all but as of right now, there is no way to fix it.

Hopefully we will get a UI scale feature at some point, but nothing has been said on this matter.

You can use the accessibility options on your console to zoom on the screen in the meantime.

Hi, Are you on PS4? If so you can turn on the zoom feature in your PS4 settings. Go in settings > Accessibility and check the box for zoom. To use in game press PS button and square at the same time to zoom, O to cancel. 

I can't see the words. It's frustrating. No wonder only 1% of people got most achievements. They quit. If the size is impossible to change how about the colors? The background and font size and color are impossible fire me. I'm not color blind I have -3 contact prescription (not that bad) I have fairly large TV. I have to get up every time I need to read something. Why put so much effort into the jokes and descriptions if no one can read them. Is not just the visually impaired. If you're not on a lap top you are struggling. Maybe EA can send us an a pair of binoculars? Or a telescope?🔭...😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔 Note the photo is on Max zoom, I tried using my camera to read things, as you can see it didn't help.

How come this has never been investigated by the developers in 3 years ? Is there any other thing more important that requires their time and efforts than being able to properly see the game ?

Font size is a real issue, I'm not even exaggerating when I say that reading small text on TV can impact health and ruin our sight. I know there is a lot of console games with small subtitles, but The Sims 4 interface is awfully microscopic. Texts, buttons, pop-ups... while the majority of the gameplay is about reading and navigating through the interface.

As of right now I'm playing this game with my girlfriend, and what should bring us joy and entertainment is full of frustration and bad sitting postures. And when you see the consoles and games that greet us with health warnings, now I've heard it all...

Is there any option to change the size of the font when playing on Xbox one?

The font is too small to see and I'm constantly using the Xbox's built in zoom in when trying to read something important but it's really frustrating!
