@391764 Great list of ideas for a Car Pack. This concept has been on the wishlist for many Simmers for a very long time.
There are a lot of car-related activities that could be implemented, even if the activity of driving might not work due to neighborhood size as seen in Base Game. Newer worlds are much more expansive and could allow for driving or cruising the main thoroughfares. I could see driving in compact neighborhoods phase into a rabbithole pop-up adventure. A better solution would be creating a new driving-focused world filled with scenic routes to explore.
Inspired by this post, some ideas I'd like to add in a Car EP:
Car Shows
Show off your souped up ride at the Car Show. Meet fellow car enthusiasts and scope out the competition. Learn all things car-related. Research upgrades and styles. Enter for a chance to win the prestigious Car Show Trophy! First-Time participants get a free T-Shirt. Pose alongside fancy cars or pop the hood and check out the engines of your competitors.
Hobbies and Toys
- TOY: Remote Controlled Car (age: Child+)
- TOY: Road Map Rug and Car Toys (age: Infant & Toddler)
- COLLECTION: Build & Paint Model Cars (age: Teen+)
Community Lot: Scrap Yard

Cars are sold for parts and scrap here. Scour the grounds to find free Upgrade Parts, Car Parts, Scrap Metal or other hidden treasures in need of repair. You can even find a whole car! It’ll need some work, but free is always good… right?

Scrap Metal is a new inventory item that can be used for creating and welding Metal Sculptures. Hunt for scrap metal at the Scrap Yard. Sculptures can range in size from tabletop decor to large floor installations to garden decor to garage wall art.
