Definitely need bands, and more actual performance opportunities, in general. Between TS3 Late Night and Showtime, we had a lot of creative opportunities for sims.  I really liked taking my solo performers to venues and actually playing a concert or other stage gig, working them up to larger venues, putting together bands that could jam and perform together. If we could get that and fairies in TS4, I’d be a happy player.

Rock

Gospel 

Choir 

Orchestra bands 

We could get live gigs and rabbithole gigs.We probably perform In parks or record are self's online for e posture

Maybe a new venue could be concert hall.A place where sims can learn instruments.Watch performance and perform by themselves or a band.

They can also be new dances

The world could be a Korean world or maybe base on Nashville Tenesse.

I imagine bands and singers can be a career you can assign yourself and maybe your bands can be a bit like club system. 

The more exposure the more perks you unlock and gain in popularity.

I would love to have a singer career that didn't require a mod. Right now I use Adeepindigo's entertainer career overhaul.

I never used to be fussed about bands, but the longer it’s been the more I’ve begun to change my mind! I’d love a drum set again and I’d really love to be able to make my sims singers and solo artists. The Get Famous record maker just isn’t the same - I want my sims to be able to perform! 

I am longing for Bands and Singers quite a long time now.

Look, we already have lounges with entertainers and so on... with a Bands EP / GP we could turn those into concert venues, or at least an Open Stage where musicians can get together (you see what I did here...). Music is such an important part of so many people's lives, it just needs to be added properly. Drums are still missing for example, I remember back then, we used to have those in The Sims 2 and if I remember correctly, Sims were able to make music together. 

Anyways, it would help me a lot to create another part of the stories I am writing. So I really hope EA will add a pack like that very soon.

Speaking on behalf of the sims 4 community, we would love to have a game pack that enables the formation of bands, or at the very least the action to 'jam together' on musical instruments. If there was a 'band together' game pack that allows jam sessions, integrating skill or style based compatibility between musicians within jam sessions would be really interesting. By adding a 'jam together' action, depending on the skills of the musicians, the quality of the jam session and band success is impacted. Practicing together should impact success of the band along with marketing and reputation. If there is an audition, there could be criteria for the style/genre, reputation, skill of potential member like in sims social clubs. There are a lot of American blue grass, rock and roll, jazz, jam bands, noise rock and alternative bands that provide inspiration and tracks for this.

So I would like songs if we get a band like playing on electric guitar and other instruments 

Barracuda, I love Rock N Roll, Bad Reputation, Thundershock, CherryBomb, Nothing else matters and etc name more suggestions. 

A band pack would be so fun I think. Different genres like jazz, rock, pop, edm with the dj booth or something. 

I have been saying this for YEARS. You could make a game just on being in a band and all that goes along with it. The drama, the jealousy, the fights, the substances, rehab, recording albums, the gigs, songwriting, groupies, record labels, all the rad instruments that could be in stuff packs, using your own music that you've created on GarageBand or Logic Pro that your created band could play....It would f'ing ROCK.

I have often mentioned a band and also one that could have a lead singer , maybe it will happen but EA seem to like having clubs just for dancing and dates or restaurants , none of which really work that well

Sims 3 did groups really well as far as they went . It could also have the group getting gigs and becoming famous

I hope that this is the year of the band. 🎸🙂

The Sims 4 desperately needs bands! The previous games had them, so why don't we have them yet? We don't even have drum kits or bass guitars yet. I just want a variety of instruments and the ability to jam / perform together. That's all I ask. But EA could easily build a stuff/game pack around the concept if they wanted, there's so much you could do with it.

An expansion like this would be so cool

As in  Ts3, we need the musc bands! I really miss this feature.  Paying music together and add for different styles, I hope you will consider this.  It had an opportunity to bring in HSY.  You make your band, practice together and maybe you can play at the festival on the stage and you can get famous or do gigs in weddings, bars, lounges, high school contest…

Just a quick suggestion/ idea that been floating around in my head for a while. I think that the ability to create a band would be awesome. We already have musical instruments and the ability to sing so why not add drums and other instruments and  different clothes. This would blend so well with all the packs we currently have, For example making new sims clubs the thrift store ( thinking of a popular 90s grunge band)  High school pack would work ,teens attending concerts or joining their own band, We have the goth and grunge pack also already  so could make really good bands and imagine starting out in your own basement and working into a superstar with friends/ band mates or recruit other sims.  Maybe a werewolf band etc. New build items may include smoke machines lighting also etc, Plus get famous pack would also work . so many possibilities maybe become a roadie instead you get my drift. what are others peoples thoughts?

I had an idea for a band expansion or game pack

First I think that there should be new instruments like a drum kit, saxophone, trumpet, electric guitar, bass guitar, and harp.

There should need to be at least three people in the band and you can form your own band or work with an agency (similar to the acting career in the get famous expansion pack). I think that if you want to work for an agency you can audition to be in a band and you will have a higher chance of getting in the band the higher your instrument level is. I think that if you have the get famous expansion pack and your band is famous (even if its just a little bit) you would have a higher chance of working with an agency. If you want to if your band to join an agency you can by either the agencies asking (The agencies will only ask you to work for them if your band is famous, but it doesn't have to be by a lot) you on your phone or by doing a similar thing to the auditions. If you work for an agency before you have formed a band you would not be the leader because the band would be formed by the agency. The agencies will help your band get famous quicker (if you have the get famous expansion pack) they will also make your sims make more money per song.

I also think that you should be able to advertise a space for a band member, and you can specify what instrument they play and you can see their instrument skill level if they reply to the ad. You can choose to accept or deny people if they reply to the ad for members and you can have multiple people respond to the ad. There will also be a maximum amount of people in a band.

If you want to start a band you can be the band leader so you get to make the decisions on what the band does and who you want in it or you can make a band with no leader witch would be good if you worked with an agency.

There could also be a new world if it was an expansion pack that could have townies that already have a skill to play an instrument that way you can have townies for your band without needing to make them yourself. this expansion pack could be rock, metal or grunge themed but you should be able to pick the genre of your band when you make it. there could also already be a band or two in the world that you might be able to join if you dont want to make your own. There could be a hall in the world that you could hire to do band practices and people would bring there own instruments so you dont have to buy instrument for everyone.

The band would write the songs pretty much the same as you do currently in the game (where you have to be level eight or higher to write a song) but if you were in a band you would have the whole band together and you would write the song together. If you worked with an agency you would have to send the song to the agency to approve it first they would then send it back to you to publish it. The money that the band members earn would be the same as you earn money from songs in the game but they would all earn the money instead of just one person.

There is also two ways to get into a band if you dont want to form it yourself ( working with an agency or joining a band in the world) so people can have different choices of gameplay. Teens adults and elders could all form bands and it could be a small band that is more of a hobby or a good career option as well.

lastly there could be music shows that bands could preform at there could be a stage, equipment, toilets, food stands etc at concert venues. People could come to the concerts (there could be more people if the band was famous with the get famous pack) and the band could earn money from ticket sales. The bands could also preform at bars as a group to earn money.

I love your game! I love your game because I can make a character! As much as I love your game I think I know a way to make it better. The way is to add more instruments like drums, flute and clarinet but the reason why I want more instruments is because I want to make a band in the Sims.
