Residential lot types for club gatherings

When choosing a club hangout, there are so many options for "Gather at club member's house". From the options it looks like it is corresponding to each of the special residential home types? 

Can't these be grouped? Especially since you can only choose one lot type as the venue to gather at. And/or, why not have multiple lot type acceptable to gather at. 

Also, if I choose Spooky Residential Club Member Home as the lot type, and there isn't one, what happens? It seems to start the club gathering at my current location, even if that is not at of a club member's house.
