Totally agree. I have probably spent four or five hundred dollars on DLC for the Sims4 over the past ten years and I'm getting to a point where I would honestly like my money back. Every time they update this game, it crashes, deleted my data, and becomes unplayable for weeks at a time. I feel it's not even remotely worth the money at this point and every new expansion/game/stuff pack feels like a total cash grab meant to take advantage of people. I have no mods, no CC, and this afternoon, after I installed the latest update (posting this on February 17, 2026), the game won't load past the welcome screen, which is so covered in ads for yet more DLC that it's actually nauseating. I've sunk so much money into this thing and I can't even play it. I feel like this team doesn't give a **bleep** about this game or the people that play it and I'm sort of at the end of my rope.
