@ImagineBuildPlay I would also like to see more of this rustic to semi-rustic style. I try frequently to find a way I can add the raw-edge accent/hallway table(below) for homes that are rustic or trendy... it can go either way. And even in a pretty mid-road or even trendy (or homey) home, some areas of the home, porch and yard are great for more rustic pieces. For instance, I would love to have a couple of dining room table sizes with a raw edge, a coffee table with a raw edge, and even an end table would be nice.
And my favorite dining table in the game is semi-rustic... from Cats & Dogs . These types of styles can go with many types of homes and add personality:
I also use the apple crate a lot for these reasons, and the stump chairs and twisted branch chairs from Outdoor Retreat:
However, I do find that I tend to avoid the other solid-log furniture except outdoors and on the more rustic types of lots. It's super chunky and doesn't have the personality of these other items.
Anyway, I would love to see more of these interesting pieces that can work for many types of lots, and more of the full-out rustic stuff, also. You definitely have my 'XP' and Me Too' on this.
Plus... I completely agree with you, @simsplayer818 ...I love the idea of using the workbench, but the items you can make with it, even with handiness of 10, lack interest and personality to me. I would be using it a LOT if I could make really cool items with it (for example, if you could make some items like those above, that's they type of thing a mid to good craftsman could make that people love). And a craftsman with skill of 10 should be able to also make some beautiful pieces with lovely and unique detail. I usually have a workbench on the lot and don't use it unless an aspiration requires it, because I don't use the items they make.
