Sim cancel computer interactions/ Only use while already sitting

I find this happens when I use normal dining chairs at the desk with the computer. Change the chair to a dedicated desk chair and the problem might go away. Since I'm stubborn and don't like to be forced to change things, I usually just click on the chair first. 

On the upside, the sims are a lot less obsessed with the computer that way...
