you can have a parent bake a birthday cac

 for the child & have the child blow out the candles to age them up & as for adults, go into the satisfaction points & you can buy a potion for them to drink & it keeps them at the same age.

There's no such option in Sims 4. You'll need a mod.

LeaderFaisalMuba​ You can change the lifespan in game options/gameplay settings, they are  Short, Normal, and Long. But you can't change the length of any of these three lifespans. But you can age up the sims with a birthday cake whenever you want to.

I know that but I wish it could be added to the game settings.

I simply always turn off aging ever since i went from sims 2 to sims 3 then to sims 4.
