SIMS 4 Crashes After Latest Update – Stuck on Loading Screen - Feedback

I've also spent a LOT of time, money, and tears in a forever save file that I've been redoing for some time now, so I understand the emotional side of it. I've been able to justify playing with some of the issues/bugs that has arisen, but this is a serious problem. They're still shoving out EP's and yet don't have a functional game right now. What is going on here is a major F-up by a major company that needs to remove their heads from their buttholes and fix the f-ing problems before spending more time and money on EP's and "updates" that are game-breaking.
