Sims 4 Multiplayer or Online

@Atyfu-YT In The Sims 3 there was an option to seemingly interact with other players and their creation through 'the Sim Port'. In this EP of the Sims 3 your artist Sims could be exchanged and you could ask friends and Sims 3 gamers to lent one of their artist. You could also gain point by completing tasks on the other side of the Sim Port. Unfortunately i was never able to fulfil this book.

As far as I know this could not be seen as a succes because the developers closed this game option not long after they had opened it. It was slow and buggy and sometimes players lost their Sims in the transition between worlds Or the artist Sims got stuck somewhere. If I remember it right, I ended up with someone else's Sim. Some of my Sims even found their demise. But it could have been that they died on the other side. There was also an issue with gamers that used CC and mods. So all in all, not an exercise to be repeated. As @SheriGR stated, she wouldn't let other players interfere with her saves or Sims neither would I. 

I wonder if the option you mention will be available in other Sims games, like the development of Sims 5. If it would be feasible, I think it would become some sort of hybrid solution like in the Sims 3 where you can pick one or more of your own Sims to play in a world that has to be managed by EA or Maxis. I have seen the problems of this type of games in Second life. I would not be going to play such a game. 

 There are enough options to enhance The Sims 4 as it is so i will just wait and see what is coming. In the mean time,
