I think the sims 4 needs a multi-player feature.
I know you can get a mod for this but it's not exactly what I was thinking.
It would be amazing to have an add on or just a feature where you can play with friends. Unlike the downloadable mod you should be able to play as different households. So you can play in the same world and everything but as your own characters.
I prefer to play my own personal story. I don't want to have to be online at the same time as other players, and frankly don't know who to add.
If sims 4 ever adds multiplayer, I hope it will be totally optional and players won't be punished (items not available, goals that can't be reached) if they choose to play as a single player game.
I 100% agree, it would have to be an optional feature. And I also agree that it's nice to just play your own stories.
