Heterochromia would require finding a new place on the sim's texture to put a secondary eye colour, as all CAS texture have to fit on an individual Sim's texture sheet. Since many CAS items have textures that bleed out of the areas they're supposed to stay in, I don't think even a single spot on the texture map is free. Unless they completely change the way CAS items use textures, I can't see it happening, unfortunately :(
I do wish aliens and mermaids had more going on. They seem underbaked compared to other occults.

It's not about customisation. There's only space on the texture sheet for a single eye, and the texture gets copied to both of a sim's eyes.
Modders have made heterochromia CC by using the texture space for accessories, but that causes conflicts with the accessories, so that couldn't be implemented officially.Well so that means no complete heterochromia for us :(( We kinda of have central heterochromia with that green eye (and we need more). But what about sectorial heterochtomia? It could be the same in both eyes even if it doesn't exist irl, at least we'd have a chance to get it.
