Sims 4 royalty pack ideas

I've been playing The Sims 4 for a while now, and I think it's time for a new expansion pack that takes things to the next level. That's why I think the next expansion pack should be a royal family pack with royal guards. Think about it - we already have so many different careers and lifestyles to choose from in The Sims 4, but we've never really had the chance to play as royalty. With this new expansion pack, we could create our own royal family, complete with a castle, royal guards, and all the trappings of a life of luxury.

I think this would be a really fun and exciting addition to the game, and it would give players the chance to explore a whole new side of The Sims 4. Plus, the addition of royal guards would add a new level of gameplay and strategy, as players would need to protect their royal family from potential threats. Overall, I think a royal family pack would be a great addition to The Sims 4, and I can't wait to see what the developers come up with next!

    I would love to see a Royalty pack but a more vintage modern approach- think  Bridgerton meets Downton Abbey meets Sims 4 Vintage Glamour revamped. For now I just use Get Famous, Henford on Bagley and Castle Estate Kit to somewhat have that experience. It’s like we have all the makings of it but need that final push to really bring things together.

  • So I’ve been a long term playing for sims 4 on console, I’m currently using a ps5! I was never one for pc games or tracking down all those mods pc players use for the sims4 lol. I’ve been playing since it came out (sims4) and I’m turning 19 soon so there’s a lot of things over the years I wish were added to the game for console players but I love what’s came out so far! Anyways- Since playing I’ve always wanted more fantasy expansion packs. I noticed recently that the “enchanted with nature expansion pack” is releasing soon on July 10 and can be per ordered now. Which is amazing! Yet I was always leaning towards princes and princesses type theme! Having the ability to have a world dedicated to being royalty, having traits the consist around royalty or just being super fancy as well as adding the ability to have maids and butlers, stables, carriages- those really puffy princess dresses, and doing royal activities! I have a lot in mind for something like this and so much more detail to get into. I overall just wanted to present this idea to see if anyone else would else be fond of something similar! If anyone else had any input or more details to add to a “prince and princess royalty expansion pack” I’d love to hear anyone else ideas or opinions!

    If we ever get France inspired world/neighborhod it'd be a great opportunity to add catacombs and skeletons as full life states with better citsomization like the ability use clothes, hairs/wigs and face paint.

    Bonus:
    • Their death also dropping random clothes clutter when wearing them;
    • Special dance spinning their bones;
    • Ressurection/Reanimation magic/ritual.

    I’d love to suggest a new expansion pack centered around monarchy, nobility, and aristocratic life — think Versailles, The Great, Marie Antoinette, and Bridgerton vibes all in one. A pack that brings elegance, hierarchy, and scandal to The Sims.

    Pack Name Ideas:

    • Sims 4: Royal Court
    • Sims 4: Nobles & Thrones
    • Sims 4: Courtly Life

    Core Features:

    • Royal Titles & Social Ranks: Let Sims inherit or earn titles like King/Queen, Duke/Duchess, Count/Countess, or Lady/Lord. Titles could unlock specific interactions, dress codes, and expectations.
    • Courtly Life Gameplay: Royal balls, etiquette training, tea parties, scandals, arranged marriages, and political alliances — with consequences depending on choices and behavior.
    • Lineage & Succession: Family legacy matters! Introduce mechanics for heirs, coronations, and dynastic family trees.
    • Court Intrigue: Add drama with betrayal, secret affairs, gossip systems, duels, and social strategy.
    • New Aspirations/Traits: “Aspire to Rule,” “Schemer,” “Graceful,” or “Power-Hungry.” Traits that impact how Sims thrive (or fail) in noble society.

    Build/Buy & CAS Ideas:

    • Architecture: Lavish palaces, sprawling gardens, gilded halls, ballrooms, servant quarters, ornate fountains.
    • Fashion: Extravagant hairstyles, corsets, embroidered coats, delicate gloves, lace fans, tiaras, and royal robes — across eras (Tudor, Rococo, Victorian).
    • Objects: Thrones, banquet tables, harpsichords, scrolls, crests, canopy beds, royal portraits, vanity tables.

    World Idea:

    A new historical-inspired world with a palace district, noble manors, and peasant villages. Maybe a European-style countryside with hidden catacombs, hunting grounds, and a town square for public events (or scandals 👀).

    Would love to hear what others would add to this!

  • If a royalty pack is made, I would like if it could tie in, lore-wise, with the Princess Cordelia and other references that are spread throughout the game to help explain more of that backstory, and potentially also reference The Sims Medieval as well. It would also be nice to incorporate errands, like Enchanted by Nature and Cottage Living have, to explain that backstory. I think the key thing for winning over non-royal players is making it an interesting world that you can visit and interact with, even if you aren't going to play it. This is how Enchanted by Nature is for me: I probably am not going to play a fairy family, but it is nice to have my normal Sims visit there and engage with the mechanics.

    There's this church of bones in the Czech republic, where they artistically display the bones, maybe we could get some items inspired by it. They could make it into some sort of gameplay, maybe a bone collecting gravedigging hobby/job and the items be craftables. They also need to add the Day of the Dead as a calendar holiday, it's so annoying when they add perfectly good gameplay for the limited events and then it's no longer accessible.

    I agree with you that they need to make the world interesting for those that don't want to play king and queen and are maybe just visiting there. There should be shops that sell various crafts and supplies, like period clothing or maybe even a seamstress shop, a blacksmith to forge swords and horseshoes. A medieval fair festival would also be nice. They also need to add new harvestables, and if it's medieval then there should be options for completely off grid life, like wood fired ovens and sinks and bathtubs that work with a pitcher of water and no cell phones.

    I play the Royal Kingdom Challenge, originally for Sims 2 and adapted to Sims 4. A royalty pack might make that easier.

  • Honestly, the only reason I want Get Famous is for the Rococo (and steampunk) inspired Build/Buy and CAS. I love/loved the Sims 3 Palace of Versailles store set. I still would love to see in Sims 4:

    But if this was expanded to a GP or EP medieval royal or otherwise, that be so cool!
