I would love to come back and view other simmers ideas for the Sports Tournaments expansion pack concept! We have all contributed a ton of images, what we would like to be able to play in game, and added our own ideas that are well thought out!
Continue commenting and contributing to this thread with ideas, images, videos of sims performing in athletic sports. Also, if anyone is able to create a UI mentioned above throughout the thread, I will greatly appreciate your efforts and other simmers will too!
There is competition type gameplay in the upcoming Adventure Awaits EP. Wonder if it will be useful to stage sports competitions for the sports we currently have in game. Rock climbing, diving, skiing. swimming maybe could work. Don't think we will ever get sports competitions that require lots of players.
What makes you believe we won't have a Sports Tournaments Expansion Pack?
As long as teams are concise and small this should be executable.
Also, I like that Adventure Awaits adds competitions. But this Idea concept is completely different from Adventure Awaits.
Do you have any ideas or sports that you would like to be added?
I didn't say there won't ever be a sports tournaments pack, just that there won't be one that includes multiplayer/team sports such as soccer, basketball, etc. because it would require too many sims on the lot. We might get something but for single player sports or maybe pairs like boxing, tennis, ping pong, darts, etc. In University there are I think football matches, but they are rabbit hole experience so doesn't' really count. I think figure skating as a competitive sport would be nice, sims could train on the skating rink and then participate in rabbit hole type competitions.
