Sims aging up with random hair/makeup clothes

When my sims are aging up all of them do so with the most random outfits, hairs and make up. My expectarion would be for them to keep the hairstyle they had as a kid if it's available for older sims. I also wish for them to stay away from make up and accessories all together to avoid the weird combos... this goes for randomly generated NPCs as well
