mods & sims in general
for starters most important thing is to have a scanner or s o m e t h i n g that bans and actually gets jailed whoever uses vile mods, this is everyones responsibility and it should NOT exist.
for the game and how it all looks, there should be a choice, if people like cartoon thing they can keep it, but unfortunately inzoi hasnt done anything and that kind of "realism" isnt my style either, i lean towards semi realism.
it would be nice if it was an actual life simulator, as it stands right now theres no game that does well at this, i dont want to have to download countless mods and cc to make the game barely playable, because even in 2026 theres no mod out there that can fix this game and its issues beyond something moronic as sims going to the bathroom and washing hands in the kitchen. thats a nice bug to fix, but the sims animations language and expressions all scream bs kids movie [it is worse tbh this is being overly nice]
game does not lack money, 1k+ worth of packs and it still amounts to nothing, the good devs that actually put effort in, great work, maybe they dont even get paid well enough, which they should.
but as is the game is really boring, theres a lot of potential and if you have massive amounts of alpha cc it can even look nice, however the actual sims itself have no mods in existence that can fix them, and i dont think any of this should be the modders responsibility.
again, this doesnt mimic life, but a doll house, at least call it so, it really sucks when it should be a life sim but you control them like dolls, i much prefer watching it unfold and not having to micromanage and be delusional about whats happening in the game, because truly, there is nothing going on unless you use ur imagination and at that point i would just draw, write, or try my hand at 3d animation.
its lackluster and soulless, wish there was a proper fun game out there that was capable.
