Would love to live in a Fjord Town on the waterfront surrounded by misty mountains.
A fun hobby to include in a Nordic world would be Whale Watching. I imagine this performed on a cliffside overlooking the ocean.
Another poster had a good suggestion of a Mountain Lake that could be a good fit for a Nordic world. Her post suggests activities like kayaking and bird-watching.

It's possible to have dolphins and Emily popping up in the water so why not whales.🐋

Imagining a Nordic world is really inspiring.
This world should definitely have a Museum Lot, rich with Viking artifacts. Would be fun if there was a Storyteller NPC who hangs out on this lot and regales in the tales of the Vikings, Nordic culture, and Tall Tales.
At different levels of friendship, the Storyteller will bestow some secrets:
- A hidden rabbithole Cave, revealed only on a certain night, when the moon is right, when the mountain mist will clear.
- A new Lure
- A Rare fish found only in the middle of the mountain lake
- You have to boat there
- Fish from the boat
- Special bait
- If you bring the Storyteller the rare fish, he will reward you with a new Viking-style Fishing Boat.
Scandinavia is one of the world's largest exporter of fish. Fishing activities could be expanded upon.
- Lure Making Hobby - New Collection
- Tackle Box - Fish storage box
- Fishing Boats
- Seated Fishing - if Portable Folding Chair is in Sim's inventory, Sims can choose to Sit and Fish, then they'll Stand when they've got a catch.
- Same animations when fishing from a Fishing Boat.

Aurora Skies, which is largely inspired by Iceland, was my favorite Sims 3 world. I would love to see a Sims 4 version!
