I agree that achievements on steam would make many players purchase DLCs and play it more. I can tell because I'm one of them. Trophies were the only reason that forced me to play The Sims 4 all the time on Playstation properly without cheats and it was real fun. It's easier to find motivation to play when we have fixed targets in form of achievements.
