Steam Achievements For The Sims 4

I have played all the sims games over the years,  from when it was Maxis to these days where the Sims 4 free to play! It did however take me a while to play the sims 4 for one silly tiny reason. 

I like 'complete' stuff, to have a goal in mind when I start a sandbox type game. Whilst I've enjoyed about 30 hours of gameplay building my real life house and family and building it up until we're millionaires in a mansion version of my property. I kind of got bored and didn't really know what else to explore.

With many other games, once i've tired of the original gameplay, I got into completion mode, I explore the game via the way of achievements. I noticed the other day that the game has acheivements and these may well be tied to Origin, but they are not tied to steam.

I personally think I would spend a lot more time in game and possibly on DLC if I had more of a reason to. 

I would love to see the achievement added to steam, it'd also give the chance for people to display more from the Sims on the Steam profiles.

Yes I definitely agree! I'm so ready to purchase all DLC's but holding off due to achievements. I want a goal to play towards and not just play aimlessly.

Right there with you! I would pick up all the achievements and invest so much more time if the achievements were also connected to steam and not just in game.

Still, after many years, the game does not have Steam Achievements. It would be actually easy to add for you since Sims 4 already got achievements. So why not just add them as Steam Achievements too and give trophy hunters and other players something to hunt for? It also has been requested many times but nothing changed.

I can relate to all the feedback my fellow complitionist give, checking every once in a while to see when i can jumpstart my sims 4 grind, its such a awesome game but i cant get into it cause i loose interest without a clear goal to play ( for me its getting achievements) id agree with buying all the dlc's like the domamine chaser i am.

Perhaps we should start a steampost about it and see how many steamusers want it so we can have proof alot of people think the same (i think alot of people are with us on this one)

Any updates on this EA_Cade​ ? There's tons of people also asking for this in the Steam forums for The Sims 4. I actually go to the Steam forums about once a month just to see if there's any news regarding this. I've really missed Sims 4 and would get back to it in an instant if I had something to strive for rather than just playing aimlessly. Would also buy all DLC's if they also had related achievements.

Since achievements are present on Playstation and Xbox it feels odd not to have them in Steam.
