Would there ever be a near future opportunity for the sims teams to make items catered towards blindness or genetic disorders. This is random, in the sense that this thought popped up while working on a character build.. I was clicking through swatches and my character now resembles someone who has albinism. I remember a girl in my college time telling me that one thing that she deals with being Albino is her vision, and she said it was very likely she would go blind in a few years, and now I'm thinking. Will we see those types of medical add ons in the sims? It would also give the pets a little more play, because you could send or personally train seeing eye dogs. It's great to see them already adding so much in to personalize characters more, but I'm also having to remember this is a game, so it was never major to me. But as one who gets really into her story building on here... it would be nice to see if more options will be coming soon and I know many people feel related to when they see or can get items on here that resemble their own goings on.

@Raebae09 YES, please! They could add a walkstyle with a walking stick, interactions to touch paintings and objects or ask someone to describe it, animations for reading books in braile or painting delimiting the brush movement with the fingers and even create a trait that set all those things as default. Since they removed the animation for dogs entrance in weddings i doubt they'll add anything for them, sadly...
@jpkarlsenWe're actually asking for blind sims not blind gaming, i hope the team understand our requests.

Yes, I understand that the want was for blind sims. I just described what would happen if you tried to play as a blind sim. I'm sorry that you didn't understand that. You could argue that you could control them like normal sims but how would that in any way depict the life of a blind person?

My thoughts are that representation is about making someone feel included, like they can be seen by others, and there's more to blind people than just vision impairment. They have non-conventional ways to deal with visual things, so that would be enough for some kind of representation as people would be able to mimicry those ways and not the disability itself. But if that isn't enough they could create a blind sight for first person camera with blurry/low light view or a black camera with the edges of sims and objects being the only things to be seen.
