Suggestion for a Cats & Dogs Update

I really love animals and I like the Cats & Dogs pack, but after some time it starts to feel boring to play with pets.

Right now, the gameplay is mostly feeding them, walking them, cleaning them, and going to the vet. Pets don’t feel like they have a big role in my Sims’ lives.

I would love more activities and goals with pets, for example:

Interactive dog shows and cat shows, where you can train your pets, guide them in competitions, and earn ribbons or prizes
The option to become a breeder [Career]
More pet-related careers or hobbies
More personality and interactions for pets
More things to do with pets at home and outside

This would make pets feel more important and make the pack much more fun to play for a longer time.
