Since this has come up on the Sims Freeplay please allow me to wade into the water and give my suggestions how Vehicles can be introduced to the Sims 4 in a way that will slightly make up for its lack of an open world. Thank You Simmer Erin for the inspiration

You can see passengers if they are tall enough like Sims and Dogs who sit up. Babies & Cats will not

They also have various car stuff items, toys, magazines and CDs with music. Maybe some souvenir type stuff like mugs or key chains. And they all sell ice, charcoal and wood for BBQ. Everything is overpriced compared to regular supermarket prices.
