Suggestion/Idea: A Game Pack "Disney Land"
I was just meandering about my old game packs last night in my sleep, and something stuck out to me, though we have Journey to Batuu, we don't really have a vacation pack that "Child-centric". While the title says Disney Land, this is more the feel I want to imply than the actual content; Somewhere that a famly could vacation that was focused on semi-retro child-like imagination.
Ideas I may have come across in game that would support such a realm are few, but let's analyze Voidcritters for a moment. This could be one of the attractions at this new park; but like Disney Land, it wouldn't be the "only" activity focused on Children, and Child-like Adults (read: Childish/Family Oriented). The Aim would be to create an enviroment that while whimsical also had a place for kid's to very much be kids. I was thinking maybe another activity could be some kind of "Dress-up" or "Character Cosplay" for the Kids, completely optional unlike Batuu. Voidcritters could be one kind of "Dress-up" for the "older kids" but what's a child-centric themepark if it doesn't include toddler and infant activities? (Note: Infants in the Sims are somewhat difficult to entertain lacking a real "Fun" meter most of the time, but you'd be hard pressed to find a bathroom in a themepark for kids that didn't have a diaper changing station), arguably children are a cornerstone of the Sim's Society, so it's time we considered their needs, and wants, and somewhat silly aspirations. Speaking of Aspirations, maybe a new aspiration for Children in this pack, something like "Goto A Theme Park and Do Everything" (which would count both the new child-centric area and the old Batuu packs if cross-pack).
In the end, we won't be getting a neighborehood Map in Sims 4 like Sims 3 (respects given, taken, and loved), but we can atleast create "mini-zones" that are more in line with the activities those massive maps gave us.Think of this as a opportunity to expand upon an already strong marketing potential for the better good, and make some serious money along with it (because Electronic Arts is a business after all, nothing wrong with you taking "your fair share")
