Suggestions for a deeper gameplay

So, since we are stuck with sims 4 for awhile, here are some ideas to make it better:

Base game

The problem I think is that the relationships with friends and families doesn’t feel deep enough. Sentiments help a bit but maybe you should expand on them making them more relevant or add more. We also miss more deep interactions and the ability to, for example, know when a friend has a break up and support them, talking about it when someone of their family dies, talk to them about our thought like having a baby, leave a job and also join their parties and birthdays! Our sim shouldn’t be the only ones who do these things but our friends should be able to do this as well. These would add much more realism to the gameplay! Otherwise it feels shallow.

In this sense neighbourhood stories should work better too, with the possibility for them to get married and divorce, at least for townies! This way we could also receive wedding invitations.

You should definitely add a better memory system that could work together with milestones. The only memory my sims get is about pee herself. You should definitely expand on memories to add more realism and depth to the game, maybe add nostalgia and really impactfull and more realistic memories. Maybe a photo album where we can add core memories too? This would be perfect for an hotel pack.

Seasons

Seasonal festivals would also be a nice add to seasons, maybe there could be a dedicated lot type?

HSY

Teens do not look like teens nor act like teens. You should add more perks and weird behaviours characterising them as teens. I don’t know, they could go through phases, mood swings, uncertainty and be part of real groups, create caos as in the midlife crisis.

Also we should be able to have more options on social bunny to really post about what happens to our sims, not about random stuff, and post selfies too!

Hotel pack

These could add bankruptcy and the possibility for sims to lost all of their money.
