Swim in a pond

@RaceTheRain swimming in ponds would be great.

In the meantime you can create a pool with the pool tool in a kind of  pond shape and use the water styles to make it look like a pond. I use the grass flooring for the bottom of it and use the cheat bb.moveobjects on to place rocks and plants around the edge to hide it. I usually add a few floating lights and lily pads too. I'm really into waterfall effects lately too by using the same cheat to hide fountain emitters under stacks of rocks.

So that's how I make a "swimmable" pond. But I'd like all water to be swimmable if it's deep enough. I've heard of a mod for it for PC players but I'm on console.

Also spiral staircases have been asked for a lot and have definitely been mentioned to devs. So fingers crossed.🤞

Spiral staircases would be great! 🙂 Many simmers would enjoy having them in their builds.

I would love to have spiral stairs and curved stairs that can be used to make stairwells around the edges of circular rooms like those inside towers or lighthouses. It would be lovely to be able to make grand sweeping staircases for ballrooms, castles or celebrity homes etc.  

re swimming in the pond, I also have used the terrain tools and moo cheat to make a pool that looks more like a pond and in one instance it was almost completely surrounded by a pond so that it looked like a fishing pond that was swimmable and had a diving platform disguised by some rocks and plants.

I remember when sims are able to play in a fountain, now they can't. swimming in pond might be to shallow though haha

edit: I just tried to make a pond for the first time, and wow it can go so deep.
can even make your own lake with those thing.

With the splash pads and splash pad water emitters that came with Growing Together you can have your sims play in the water @Similians 

Also if you have  Romantic Garden stuff pack, Fountain of Gluteous Maximus gives you the option to play in it.

Re splashing in water, there is a YouTube video by StormDesign (I think) showing how to incorporate a toddler pool area into a swimming pool area.  I’ve managed to do it successfully a couple of times now. Just something extra to consider for the water play discussion.
