Is it possible to disable the Aliens abductions and pregnancies in gameplay mode? I am over my Sims getting abducted by aliens and having aliens' kids. I had a married Sims couple both have alien Sims babies and they keep getting abducted. Would love the option to turn this option off for good.
You must be doing the actives in-game to trigger and up the percentage for alien abdution. Using the telescopes and working in the Scientist Career are main things that up the percentage chance of alien abductions. There is a satellite dish that can help prevent it, you can get it in build mode by the bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement cheat. It is part of the GET TO WORK EP, to help you narrow down the pack. There is a already a setting option on the satellite dish to help "prevent" abductions.

Thank you for the tip about the satellite, I will try it out. I do have a Sim that worked as a Scientist in the same save file as the Sims couple that kept getting abducted, so maybe it is related. But my Sims didn't use any telescopes or anything and kept getting beamed up over three times at least for both Sims.
You did find the reason for it. If you have a played sim in that save doing the career, that can up the percentage of abduction possibilities of played sims in that save.

Just knowing aliens and having them in your neighborhoods can up the chances a lot. I've been having it happen constantly in Willow Creek and Newcrest.
I discovered that you can now cancel the Investigate Weird Light action and send the Sim back to bed. I don't think I could always do that. You can also lock your doors at night.
Female Sims shouldn't be able to get pregnant in a vanilla game.
"Female Sims shouldn't be able to get pregnant in a vanilla game." What? Did you mean male? I don't think it's a good idea either, but that's the way the game is set up.
Vingedheart, after abduction male sims usually come back pregnant. Female sims still can be abducted, but do not get pregnant from it in a vanilla game.
Weird. I've never had a female abducted, so didn't know this.

I am noticing more and more ISSUES in players games with the aliens and alien babies popping up since the latest June 2026 update. Can we revisit my original suggestion about being able to disable both the alien abductions and alien births in gameplay? Do think about add this feature to the next update, I believe it is greatly needed.
