Testers?
Was there no way to identify this issue would happen? I may be wrong but I feel like if playtesters were used to test out updates before theyre fully released we wouldnt have issues like this happen ...

I simply will not be playing the game until this is fixed. In fact, this is the only reason I bought and installed the game, to use CC. That's the main appeal of Sims as a whole for me. Even buying expansion packs that cost as much as entire AAA games on Steam made it worth it because of CC.
If this never gets fixed, then I will simply feel swindled out of my money, as I was promised something that now isn't available. It feels like fraud.
This is the first time I'm even writing in Community, it is that big of deal. I sincerely hope they realize it.
