TOO many notifications

Every time I start the game and with certain packs I will get notifications about different in-game content sometimes DAILY. Not sure if this is intended but people have been discussing this for at least 2 years with no resolution. 

Simple solution would be to add a checkbox or button "Do not show this notification again" or "Never show this notification again". I don't need to be reminded daily about ThrifTea, I don't care about the fair, the flea market, etc. Sometimes I just want to be immersed in what I am doing without having to dump my notification wall every 20 minutes. 

I recently found that there is a setting in the Gameplay options to "Allow Romantic Invites" and "Allow Friendly Invites" that I have removed, but there is no way to remove pack-specific things. Cutting down on the notifications especially for those of us that have put thousands of hours into the game would be a much appreciated QOL improvement.
