Vampires pack sucks??

@tortoisethefrog there's a cheat guide for CAS attached from Sims Community. It unlocks CAS items but I don't know if it includes the vampire teeth, etc.

If you're not opposed to using cheats it might be worth a try! I can't use it as I'm on console and it disables our achievements using certain cheats 😩.

It's difficult for me to understand people complaining about this pack, since Vampires is probably the Pack I played the most with. At some point, there were so many vampires that I had made in my game, it was insane! Since they're basically immortal, each of them were coming from a different historical era and culture. I made a club for Vampires only, they were hanging out in a nightclub (downloaded from the gallery, gothic vampire style, very cool) and they were dancing, drinking plasma mary at the bar, biting non-vampire Sims and of course, fighting each other!! (the best part!!) It was so fun!!!
Yeah, ok, it would be cool to have those ears for non-vampires, because i'd like to create elves and fairies. And weirdos. 
But besides that, i think there are so many ways to enjoy this pack.

I play less with my vampires now,  I play with a horse ranch and a non vampire family, but when they go out in a nightclub, my vampires come out and it's hilarious!

@2hCreationsI was really hesitant to add it as I'm extremely phobic of vampires. But I love the content ♥️! It's lovely furniture and decor. It blends perfectly with the Castle kit. I'm really glad I finally added the pack.
I've deleted all the Vampires for now but I'm very fond of the Sixam Mosquito Trap and I'm sure it's listening and reacting when my Sim talks to it.
I like forgotten hollow but it's deserted for now. I don't know if any Vampires will spawn there though as I'm not yet sure how it works. I'm going to add a shop there once the Crystals pack is out this week but without any Vampire traits on the lot and hope customers are safe lol.

I also noticed that the Vampire eyes and ears were available for my Spellcaster.

Hello @simsplayer818 ! Yes you will have vampires in your game. If you delete all your vampires, the game will automatically create new ones. Clothewise, the game will create them just the same way it creates townies, so they will definitely look like townies...  maybe they won't look scary to you? 😉 They will come to knock at your sims' house door quite late, like 11 pm. That's a good way to recognize them!

The content of the vampire pack is lovely indeed! I love it too, and I totally understand you! I use it in other houses non related to vampires. The kitchen counters, the toilet, the chairs, the beds fit well with old-style country houses. I use them a lot! The colors are beautiful.
I love also the CAS items that I use for goth sims. 

I see that you're also waiting impatiently for the new crystal pack! My sim family has already collected crystals and displayed them all over their house, waiting to learn the new skills! 

@2hCreationsI used the pack to create a nice apartment for my Double Agent Sim. It's super fancy! I love it. I've also used it for my castle.
I've just got my Spellcaster to max the Vampire Skill and learn how to make the cure just incase, so that I have a Sim in my game capable of doing that. She's close friends with the perpetually mourning Werewolf Greg and as the lore tells us, he's not a fan of Vampires. So it seemed appropriate she'd be the one that holds a cure.
When she maxed the skill and the dramatic music played I nearly jumped out of my skin! I quickly panned the camera to the doorstep to check one of them hadn't arrived to congratulate her lol. Honestly... I'm not brave! 🤣

As @LadyAofPineapple pointed out, there is absolutely a way to turn your existing Sims into vampires! Either go to one of the houses with existing vampires (Vlad or the Vatores), or wait for one of them to show up at your door. 

Aside: Caleb and Lilith Vatore are unlikely to actually bite. Caleb even has the Good Vampire aspiration. Vlad does invade your house, but if he knocks, he’s just being friendly. I joke to my friend that it’s because Vlad literally has no fun items in his house: no tv or stereo, no computer, no books… Caleb and Lilith at least have books and chess. So they’re all bored and want to borrow YOUR tv/computer/game pad/etc. (Actually, they want to give you the chance to befriend a vampire.) 

Befriend any of the existing vampires. Vlad in particular is likely to offer to make your Sim a vampire if he really likes them, or you can ask any vampire in your save to make your Sim a vampire. (Vlad will mentor any vampire turned in game via popup, and it’s recommended to keep the relationship going so you can level up more easily.)

It’s not instantaneous, but your Sim will absolutely become a vampire.

[Edit: There are also cheats to instantly make your Sim a vampire, and if you use the cas.fulleditmode cheat you can change your Sim’s “human” form as well.]

The CAS preview of the vampire pack on the EA site is really misleading.

They could at least state that this content is only for Sims that are vampires...

I had to learn this the hard way too with other packs I bought blindly.

Now I check reviews on youtube or on fan sites before I buy.

Expectations and reality are sometimes two different things with Sims 4 packs.
