I agree!
I have resorted to cc foods for vampires since the game has limited options.
I also allow my vampires to eat sim foods while progressing in their path to Grand Master level by holding out on weakness.
I only add a weakness when they get to a certain level in order to maintain my gameplay style.
My vampires love to sleep in and eat sim foods so these functions will never be a weakness in my game for my vampires.
You need to have a lot of vampire points to get past the weakness that you don't want for your vampire.
I just keep playing and adding points to my vampires and when I get 10 or more I add a weakness avoiding other weaknesses like eating and sleeping in a bed.
You can accumulate more then enough points in the vampire life state to pick and choose what your vampire needs are if you don't add to their current state while playing them.
Just add up the points and when they are Grand Master Vamps then you can freely pick and choose their strengths and weakness.
I accumulate as much points as I need before adding a weakness or strength while playing vampires.
All of my vampires are foodies because they will never forget the pleasure of taste and they all can sleep in a bed or coffin because I made those strengths the most desirable with my vamps.
I avoid the undesirable traits like hissing by skipping and adding points to the gameplay( vampire lore traits. ) until I get them to grand master therefore; my vampires will never have hissing fits or an uncomfortable slumber in a bed because they are above those traits in my game.
My vampires are lovers of food and broken from a sim life lost. They still love food and life.
