I have never used any CC and also encounter this.
I really hope this isn't by design and is eventually resolved. I almost never have dogs in my household (despite LOVING them to bits) because of this.
I tried just not walking them... but then they're more likely to run away. ☹️
It seems the dog walking issue is still going on, I hope they fix it as soon as possible.
