Wasted money and tons of rage

I've been playing The Sims since the beginning and I have to say that The Sims 4 is the biggest disappointment imaginable to me. Rather than smashing my tv I decided to come rant. 

I shouldn't have to use mods to play this game, but I have to otherwise I'd lose my mind even more than I am feeling like doing right now. A game is supposed to be fun, and I am experiencing as far from that as possible. I found a sim squatting in an apartment building, so I started playing her and turned her life around. She is, or was, a real joy. Suddenly, out of nowhere, she starts being rude to her two boyfriends and insults and yells at them for no reason. None of them have any bad traits. The only thing I can even suspect might be causing it is that she maxxed out her mischief skill when she was a teenager. However, her boyfriends like mischief so I don't really thing this is the problem but it's the only thing I can think that could be causing this problem. So basically, now she is ruining everything. She was at the Starlight Accolades and her husband confronted her for bullying her boyfriend. I was shocked because all along I had thought it was the boyfriend causing the problem. Which didn't even make sense either because he mentored her through high school and even showed up a few times and had lunch with her.  After I noticed that I started paying better attention and sure enough it is her. She will be headed to chat with her husband, and I noticed it said insult. I mean he was bathing the kid and doing nothing wrong. It is just nuts. So that is a big part of my problems. 

Next parts are telling sims what to do and they just keep dropping what I tell them and doing something else. It took me five REAL minutes just to get the baby fed. It isn't too much to ask for some kind of check to see if someone is going to tend to a child and that way the mom, dad and butler don't all go butt heads. It is absolute chaos and makes me want to drown the children and go back to karaoke life. Oh and forget paying ANY attention to my two cats. Who has time for that with a toddler and an infant how miserable it is to get them taken care of. I am just at my wits end and having no fun.

I had to finally get a mod because I couldn't take my pets to the vet without random people just walking up and sticking their tongues down her throat. Men, women, didn't matter. And I mean back-to-back. The vet didn't make too much money because the employees were too busy sexually harassing everyone. My sim was in a committed relationship, and I am pretty positive I had the attraction disabled for her. I usually try everything I can before having to resort to third part stuff. And what I find most amazing about this particular thing is that the homosexual and blatant sexuality are just fine, but my sim can't have two husbands without using a mod. At least not easily as I read there might be one way, but that is beside the point. 

WHY WHY WHY do they not make it so toddlers can get food out of the fridge?!?!?!?!? I always put away food, so it doesn't spoil, and it's a complete pain in the rear to feed them real food. Open fridge, click on food, pick up a plate so it goes to inventory. Put the kid in the highchair and the option to give food from inventory may or may not be there. Then I have to dig through two tons of stuff to find it. Can't click the counter and tell the sim to put it there, or on the table.  That would make too much sense since the toddler could then just grab it and go sit on a couch and eat.  Plus, everyone will leave the kid sitting in the highchair for eons, even the butler. I am just so over it because it makes my gameplay so hard. I had plans to have quite a few more kids but after experiencing this that is not going to happen and frankly, I am just not sure I will play anymore. 

I tell my sims to go to bed. They're married and happy and high satisfaction, yet when the second one gets in bed they like immediately get out. IT IS EXHASPERATING!!!!! Right now I'm too yanked to think of everything. 

I was not going to play Sims 4 at all because it annoys me to keep buying the same packs over and over and over again rather then EA actually doing new stuff for us. But I recently broke down and bought everything. Each and every one. So I am going to say this....Sims 4 has been out for a long time and I cannot be the only one experiencing this craziness. If I don't see this stuff fixed it will be the last Sims stuff I ever buy. 

Apologize for the long rant but I am really frustrated because of how much money I dropped and how little fun I am actually having. Thanks for listening. I wish and hope that most of you are happy simming :)
