- Likes/Dislikes affected autonomous actions. Liking something would encourage said hobbies/music/etc. disliking would never happen autonomously/passively.
- Traits actually effect habits and lifestyle more. More like Sims 3, if anything should have been (or should be) even more in depth when compared to.
- Enable/disable features list in Gameplay/Option menu. For once I'd like to cherry pick via in game instead of a slew of mods.
- Extended family trees edited in manage worlds. Edit/tweak/add to large family trees across worlds, etc.
- Disable and/or lock skills for induvial Sims. I have a mod to do this but the mod isn't perfect. Stopping or stunting skill progression for certain skills can add challenge and unique playstyle per Sim—and not Same Sim; Different Play playing.
- Self-employed Sims—are employed! This drives me nuts, having skill careers missing. If possible multi-skill skill careers.
- Skills open up like in Sims 3. I would prefer skills opening when you click on them, so you know what you unlocked if you missed the pop up, and merging the notebook feature to the appropriate skills. Plus challenges and statistics can be displayed there.
- No phone option. I play a fantasy game, phones ruin the immersion. Having to use the mail box instead to let's say send for a grocery delivery instead.
- Writing without a computer. Again immersion, a scroll and quill or book and old style ink pen.
- Working hybrids occults. More than one skill tree, or spellbook and a skill tree, so we can make our own hybrids without bugs be great.
- More outfits (at least for casual/formal). I can only imagine how hard it is to choose if you have all packs/kits.
- Better accessory layering and mirroring. Armbands take up bracelet slot, and some items do not have a mirror option for the other hand.
- Hair accessory add/removal. Some hair styles I'd love to add or remove the accessory.
- Create-a-Style. My wish from pre-release of Sims 4, for build/buy and all of CAS.
That is what I can think of on the top of my head XD

I'd love all of these!! And yes, I also hate that self employed sims are unemployed!
As for more outfits, I'd love it if you could turn outfits on and off in CAS, so as to hide the ones I don't want used in the game. I would also like to be able to add tags to clothing, if I think something is formal that isn't counted as such I would love to be able to add that, or if I want something not available for a certain age group...

Tagging and hiding clothing/accessories would be amazing. I mean so many clothes are not tagged "preppy" "polished" etc. Why can't we tag them? and "hide" clothing/accessories from the randomized townie selection would be so helpful.
