Why are stalls not auto manned on public lots?

I know this issue has been mentioned in several places and forums already but I am mentioning it again. Come EA this needs addressing. Why should I need to pay 100 simoleons to then also have to pay ...

If you have the Eco Living Expansion pack  player placed stalls work on the marketplace option of the community lot... but you have to get the marketplace option voted in which is annoying.

I agree it is very silly they won't just let 1-2 stalls work if you place them in a public space like a park. Why did they even put them in as something you could buy and not a debug item if they aren't fully functional?

@CromulentSims Marketplace lots are some of my most used for this very reason! Why can’t other lot types be the same?? 🤔 Or as @PipMenace mentioned a “ring bell for service” option would be a compromise and a big improvement!
