Why is Sims Direct Update only on X/Twitter & not DIRECTLY on EA site or AHQ ?

They don’t even bother to post the actual information on their Discord. I joined their Discord to get all the IMPORTANT information on Discord not on X, they don’t even bother to mentioning there although they have a channel under announcements & info -> sims – direct.I avoid twitter since it became X.

    @daikoyu I also joined the official Discord and was disappointed that announcements or updates are not shared there. While I enjoy discord & don't find joining it a barrier - others might - just as I find X/Twitter an impossible option. The point remains that we are customers of Sims4 / EA, not x/Twitter or Discord.
