I just NEED more traits.

First on my wishlist is better playtesting prior to release. I have a strange suspicion that somebody in accounting does the playtesting and not actual Simmers. Yes, the focus group and 2 locations in all of North America is great if you want to see how we actually feel about the game concept but there are actually some of us NOT in Florida or California. First, you make a post on the forums. Playtesters wanted to test a new game pack. Then share a link for us to apply. We sign a contract stating no mods and CC will be used during the playtest. We agree we don't come on the forums and share with everyone here. Leaking is bad and who is to say you don't want more than one playtest for a possible pack to be released at the same time. We report every day to a link provided by EA to share our problems with other packs. Does it make it too difficult to play an alien or a vampire? Does the game freeze up and tell you what we like and don't like. We get a copy for free if we playtest upon release. This is how you conduct a proper playtest because the look on my face while playing at the only Florida or California locations means absolutely nothing if bugs that people are constantly finding after the game's initial release are found. And it's bugs that should have been brought up in the playtest. Yes, I understand a proper playtest won't catch all the bugs but it will catch the more common bugs and problems. I personally would rather see a release date pushed to a later date than a game that is always released on the day promised and it comes out with a ton of problems.

The rest is what I want to add to our list of demands. lol.

Not just university/College but an education Expansion pack for preschool to university. With the options... parochial school, charter school, private school, boarding school, military school, reform school, homeschooling/online education. Community college, 4-year colleges and universities going all the way to a doctorate in the Sims chosen field of education.

Spiral staircases, The ability to have a grand entryway, residential elevators, ladders and tubes taking up only one square. I have a mod for elevators on residential lots. I use it in all my builds now because it saves on space.

More things that good and evil can do I am not suggesting anything that would compromise the T-Rating but 1950's cartoon villainy and Dudley Do-Right would be a major improvement.

I apologize if this offends anybody but stillborns and miscarriages would give a realistic approach to childbearing. Have the parents with a sadness buff for a few days. Some of you might think I am an evil simmer for saying that and I apologize.

More stuff for our toddler and child sims to do. Martial Arts, dance classes, play tag, sleepovers among friends, cute "romance" interactions like a kiss on the cheek. a hug, telling them they like each other, playing house together, eating lunch together at school, hanging out after school together etc. gushing with the family about their crush by name.

A changing table, cribs and diaper genies for babies and toddlers.

Preteen. We have toddlers that last only 2 years of a real child's life. I would like to see them as preteens no longer wanting to play with the toys they loved when they were younger kids. Thinking they are teens but getting upset and moody because they are being treated like "babies and little kids". I think it would add to the gameplay and make it really interesting. They could do group dating among their social groups. Again nothing serious with romantic interactions but keeping it cute and innocent. Going to a movie together, promise rings for preteen so they have the option to start dating when they become teens. Girls might not have cooties, Boys might not be gross and yucky interactions.

Different styles of architecture like Art Neuvo, Art Deco, Frank Lloyd Wright, etc

Less stuff as an oops maybe we should have added it to the original base game or expansion packs as they come out. Strangerville comes to mind. It should have been part of "get to work" which gave us no new town and was more like a game pack or a stuff pack. I understand money needs to be made but I would have rather had Strtangerville add in werewolves, witches, mermaids and other supernatural elements than more stuff with aliens. I would have rather had it as a paid upgrade for "get to work" than as a new game pack. Because in my opinion, that is what it is.

Original ideas, that are not add ons to existing ideas.

More places to go on holiday. Honeymoons for sims after they marry. Romantic getaways for couples (parents can send kids to grandmas for the weekend)

More Pool Items especially Pool Waterfalls and Pool Slides

Relaxing in Bed and other interactions in bed including spooning,kissing,making out,cuddling and snuggling,chatting,watching tv etc.

Cars,Motorcycles,Bicycles,Boats,Jetskis and Houseboats need to happen.

More romance interactions in general including more kiss types and slowdancing. Hand holding while walking would be extremely cool.

Bridal veils and body piercings

The option in CAS to make sims as girl/boyfriend,fiancie etc.

Shower,car,sofa and tub woohoo.

A Tropical Beach Destination with Swimming in the Ocean,Beach Activities,Resorts,Sovieneer Shops and Underwater Tours via Submarines.

Scuba Diving

Fishing from boats.

Theme and Waterparks with Carnival Rides like the farris wheel,roller coasters,carousels and gondelas.

So many great suggestions! Here's my wishlist so far -

- Supernatural i.e. werewolves, witches and fairies, but esp. werewolves. Magic skill? and fortune teller or ghost hunter career.
- More worlds including a tropical vacation world with swimming, diving, sunbathing, maybe even mermaids etc. Residential worlds inspired by different parts of the world, esp. something UK inspired.
- Improved traits / personalities e.g. memories, favourites, likes / dislikes, restrictions on skill abilities etc. Also a fear emotion and improved CAS options e.g. more relationships. Always want more clothing for men.
- More interesting traits e.g. eccentric, cultured, brooding, proper, rebellious, socially awkward, brave, neurotic etc.
- A romance / wedding pack e.g. chemistry system with turn ons / off, zodiac, loyal sims, more romance interactions and places to woohoo, cuddling in bed, slow dancing, ask for permission to marry, hen / stag parties, wedding veils etc.
- More stuff / development for babies, teens and elders e.g. free babies with cribs to rock them to sleep and changing mats/tables and buggies to take them out for walks (also for toddlers), more clothing and activities for teens and elders, maybe teens learn to drive and graduate / go to prom, walking sticks for elders etc.
- More hobbies / activities e.g. sewing/knitting, embroidery and crochet, drawing and origami, nectar/jam making, ballet, alchemy, bands (with more instruments and smaller pianos)
- More NPCs e.g. fire fighters, burglars, police, Mrs Crumplebottom? etc.
- More careers, particularly more 'every day' normal options e.g. teacher, librarian, lawyer, tattoo artist, fire fighter, mechanic (with cars!), professional dancer etc.
- Cars and bikes. Also exercise bikes!
- University
- Horses and horse riding

I'm probably missing some, but they're the top ones.

Gameplay:

1. Better options for babies, toddlers, kids, teens and elders
2. University!!
3. Ability to click on the stove and select exactly how many plates of food to make (any number) without having to click through the options to choose 1, 4, or 8.
4. Ability to choose a specific neighborhood like in Sims 2 and all the houses and everything are only in that style and all the sims created can only wear specific era chosen clothing, etc. So like, if I wanted the world to only be English Tudor and I wanted all the sims in that world to only wear specific clothing like seen in the Vampire pack, I could choose that. If I wanted to recreate Veronaville, then all the names would have to be Shakespearean.
5. Ability to follow everyone to work - not just specific career paths.. and add in Education so you can follow your kids to school and be a teacher or the ability to follow your kid to school and have tasks to do like eat school lunch, choose how well to pay attention to the teacher, socialization with classmates, be the class clown or the quiet kid or the nerd or the popular one. Teenagers get to choose between football, band, cheer-leading, math club, yearbook and all that other great stuff. Toddlers can go to preschool and up their skills while there. I'd like to be able to choose between being a nurse or a doctor.. maybe even allow someone to be a maid and let them travel to other houses to clean them for them if they are neat freak sims.


CAS:

1. Ability to make characters Aunt/Uncle/Niece/Nephew/Step/Ex etc.
2. Ability to choose color of hair accessory so if I want to have a dark haired girl wear a scarf, it isn't stuck to one color scheme
3. Ability to create families bigger than 8 characters even if they must be split up into different families for game play.
4. Ability to choose zodiac sign and better personality traits and favorite colors and so on.
5. Better aspirations and personality traits. I actually hate the aspirations and can't stand playing any of them. Thank god for cheats.

Items:

1. Bunk Beds
2. Swing sets with the ability for teens to hang out, and people can push each other... special swing sets for toddlers
3. Spiral staircases
4. More furniture options overall, and bring back some of the furniture styles from Sims 2 and Sims 3.
5. Better shower curtain options and shower and bath colors, floor mats specifically sized for outside the shower, better towel options.. Just more options of everything period!
6. Things that fit on the shelves better. There's so many little things that you can't even place on the shelves that should be able to be placed on the shelves.

Things I miss and would like back from past expansions:

1. Better world customization. For example, Strangeville is great but where can I put The Grunt House when the only real viable lots available don't even match the terrain of the original home? I miss the world creation of Sims 2 where the streets were lined out and you could plop the lot down anywhere as long as it was along the street.

2. Customization of character clothing, accessories, and all the furniture patterns. I don't care how long it takes to load the game. I would love to go back to being able to do different patterns and not be stuck with the same old stuff all the time in colors that don't even match. Like.. why give me a million hot pink/purple combinations but barely any wallpaper and flooring to go with it?

It’s funny I was just thinking today about what I have left on my wish list for the game :

3. More hobbies (sewing, ballet, soccer, just to name a few of my old faves)
4. A tropical Vacation world
5. More party types (Bachelor/bachelorette, pool parties, baby showers)
6. TRAVEL ! Cars, airplanes (even if it was a loading screen I would be happy)
7. L shaped staircases
8. Bunk beds
9. Firefighters
10. More everyday jobs (teacher would be amazing)

I have a very realistic play style so basically anything that would make it closer to real life lol !
