@peno11 @iamsweetmystery Hi! I know a lot of shade has been thrown at the BTD kit for various reasons. Personally, I don't hate BTD. I just hate dusting in general. lol Anyway, if I'm not mistaken, BTD is the only kit with gameplay so far. I sort of wonder if maybe it should have been a stuff pack instead. Just based on all the other kits, it seems like they should stick to adding CAS / BB items rather than introducing gameplay? Maybe that's just me. Whatever the case, I think the main point of this thread is, when compared to items offered in packs, the relative value per item is a bit more in the kits. It's difficult to compare DLC that offers items along with gameplay though. Just looking at the stuff packs, most offer around 70 CAS / BB items (give or take) as well as gameplay. It certainly seems to me that the kits are a bit overpriced in comparison. I'm thinking maybe $3 or $4 USD would be better.
@JonaO703 - Yeah, I think $3 would have been more reasonable for most. I will say, Bust the Dust has the most to offer for the price, but it is minimalist enough, I don't think it would fit as a pack. If it had a little more content, maybe. I think the almost universal disdain for RL dusting that creates a bit of bias, but there seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about the Kit in general. Nearly every gripe I've heard about it had to do with how few items it has. Very much a "judging a book by its cover" situation.
