Holiday decorations and the attic stack
Holiday decorations are wonderful and fun, but they are also a real pain. Currently the attic stack handles the decorations for the outside of the house, and will let you rummage and get individual decorations to place throughout a house. The problem for me is when the holiday is over. The attic stack will remove the outside, on the house decorations, but I am left to have to go through and remove everything else by hand. And the option is to either delete a decoration or put it in the family inventory. I do not like a bunch of things in family inventory, not to mention if did that I would still have to sort through to determine the proper decorations for whatever holiday is going on. So basically I really do not decorate for holidays much because it is more of a hassle than it is worth. And that is a shame because holidays are fun and there are many very cool decorations.
So it would be nice if holiday decorations were all tagged properly for the appropriate holiday(s) that they are suitable for and then the attic stack reworked for have individual options for each holiday to put up or remove decorations. So then I could have all kinds of decorations all over the house and lot says for Harvestfest. When Harvestfest is over I click the attic stack and tell it to remove Harvestfest decorations and anything on the lot tagged as Harvestfest will be removed. Then the next time Harvestfest comes, I can use the attic stack and click Harvestfest and "put up decorations" and it would put everything back that was there the last time.
If we could have something like this it would really inspire me to put up decorations and enjoy all of the different Holiday decorations more.
