I had to start over after playing for a while. My game messed up. Don't really remember what happened. I had to start my game over from scratch and this was the first time I played the Goth family on the new game. I'm probably going to just start over again.
@bev6usa, thanks for replying!😊 Hopefully the problem was just in that particular save! 🤞
When you started your new save, did you play any other households before playing the Goths? 🤔
Please update us on what happens! 😇

I ended up deleting everything and starting over. It's back the way it's supposed to be now. I had played another family before them in my previous game. Don't know if that had anything to do with it or not.
Thank you for trying to help.

@bev6usa , I'm glad you got them back to normal, even if you had to delete your old save game file. While it could have been corrupted, I think the much more likely cause was that you had played another family in the same save file before switching to the Goth household long enough for the Goths to have progressed in their lives. To prevent that , the easiest way is to do what @PipMenace suggested and turn off Neighborhood Stories!😊 This will keep all the other households from making drastic changes like what happened in your game! 😅
If for some reason you want to keep Neighborhood Stories on, you can always just make a new additional save game file for any of the other families you want to control . This is what I do when I want to have control over a certain family, so I have a ton of save files. (But I play on a PC, and I think if you play on a console you can only have a few save files, so you will have to be more choosy in what families you want to dedicate a save file to). 😉
